1. Why are you so sad? Because I don’t have any nice clothes or shoes.

   为什么你这样伤心？因为我没有任何漂亮的衣服和鞋子。

2. Cinderella has a good time at the party.   灰姑娘在聚会中过的很愉快。

3. Many girls try on the shoe, but it does not fit.   很多姑娘都试穿了鞋子，但没有适合的。

4. Who can’t go to the party?  Cinderella can’t.   谁不能去参加聚会？灰姑娘不能去。

5. Who helps Cinderella?  A fairy does.     谁帮助了灰姑娘？一个仙女。

6. Whose shoes do the girls try on? Cinderella’s.   女孩子们试穿了谁的鞋子？ 灰姑娘的。

7. These mushrooms are bad for us.   这些蘑菇对我们是有害的。

     辅音字母组合“dr”发浊辅音/dr/，而英语中发这个音的主要是字母组合“dr”。

譬如：dream梦   dry干燥    driver司机    drink饮料    draw画画   drum鼓

四、语法总结：

1．Why的一般用法：大家都知道why是一个疑问词，它一般位于句首，用来提问“为什么”。   

1）为什么？    E.g. why were you late? 你为什么迟到？

      在这种情况下一般要回答，用because…回答。

2）（反问，表示不必）为何？   E.g. why bother to write? 为什么还费事写信？

而这里虽然也是问句，却是一种反问，不需要回答。

  2.  Because的用法：知道because的中文意思是“因为”，而且知道它是用来对应why的。

      E.g. Why were you late?   你为什么迟到？ 

I was late, because I got up late in the morning.    我迟到是因为我早上起晚了。

 3. 特殊疑问词：  对东西或对动作提问，则用what。   对一般的时间或时候提问，则用 when。

   对具体的时间提问，则用what time。   对人提问，则用who。   对谁的提问，则用whose

提问地点则用 where。     对原因提问，则用why。    对哪一个提问，则用which。     

提问方式用how。    提问年龄用：How old   提问数量用how many。  

提问多少钱则用how much。      提问颜色用：What colour
