一、 教材及学情分析
本单元话题是看病，教学重点是表示建议的情态动词should和其否定式Shouldn’t
的用法。有关询问和描述病情的句型What’s wrong with you?I have a headache/…
What’s the matter (with you)?和形容词hungry，ill，sad，thirsty，tired，在四年级下册Unit 8 (How are you?)中已经学过疾病类词cold, cough，headache。本单元的目标词汇是一些动词短语，要求学生活学活用动词，组成动词短语，使语言表达更丰富。
二、教学目标
1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词Feel, should, toothache, anything
2.能听懂、会说、会读单词Check, dentist, bedtime, giraffe, neck
3.句型What is wrong with you?Ihavea fever/headache/...
4.能听懂、会说、会读She goes to see the doctor.You should have a rest at home.I can not eat anything.
My arm hurts.How do you feel now？
5.了解字母组合ch在单词中的读音。
