一、教学内容  

本节课的教学内容为牛津小学英语5A Unit4 Halloween A部分,本课时为第一课时。  

二、教学目标  

1、能听懂、会读、会说单词Halloween, vase, mask, pumpkin lantern,horse,tomorrow, family, things  

2、初步了解句型Do you like …? Yes, I do./ No, I don’t. What do you like? I like …  

3、能听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语What (else) do you need? I need …

4、了解万圣节前夕知识及背景。  

三、教学重难点  

1、单词Halloween和词组pumpkin lantern的发音。  

2、听懂、会读、会说日常交际用语What (else) do you need? I need …

3、了解及综合运用所学句型进行日常交际。  

4、围绕万圣节这一话题,引导学生了解西方节日及中西方文化差异,拓展学生视野,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养学生跨文化交际的能力。  

四、教学步骤  

Step1 Warming up  

1师生互相问候  

2Play a game  

T: Now, boys and girls. Let’s play a game “Guess!”. OK?  

Ss: OK.  

T: There’s a pencil in your pencil box. Yes?  

S1: Sorry, you’re wrong. There’re two pencils.  

T: I’m sorry. (指名一个学生) There’re two rubbers in your pencil case.  

S2: Yes, you’re right.  

Step2 New teaching  

T: Boys and girls! Halloween is coming. I have some presents for you. They’re in the boxes. Guess, what are they? (PPT1)  

1、教学单词vase。  

T:(指名一同学)It’s for you. Guess, what’s in it?  

S1: Chocolate.  

T: No.  

S2Flowers  

TNo, it’s a vase. (PPT2 教学vase) What ‘re these?  

S3: Two vases. (教师纠正发音,学生跟读)  

T: Do you like vases? (PPT出示句型,并逐个问学生)  

S3: Yes, I do.   

S4: No, I don’t. (教授句型)  

2、教学单词mask和horse, 并继续操练句型Do you like… Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.  

T: What’s in this box?  

S1: A mask.  

T: Clever!(教授单词mask What’re these?(PPT3)  

S2: They are masks.(分组读单词masks)  

T: Do you like masks?  

Ss: Yes, we do.  

T: What masks do you like?(PPT4呈现句型及不同面具,教授句型)  

S3: I like tigers.  

S4: I like monkeys.  

TWhat masks do I like? Please ask me!  

Ss: What masks do you like ?  

T: I like horses.(教授单词horses)  

之后学生分小组互相询问,操练。  

S1: What masks do you like?  

S2: I like monkeys. What masks doyou like?  

S1: I like rabbits.  

3、教授单词pumpkin lantern,再次巩固句型。  

T: Look, what about this box?(PPT5)  

S1: A pmpkin.  

T: Now, please look carefully.(利用电脑软件把南瓜制作成南瓜灯) What is it now?  

Ss: Pumpkin lantern.(教授单词,请学生试做)  

T: Do you like pumpkin lanterns?  

Ss: Yes, we do.  

设计意图:利用打开礼物盒这一方式,一下引起了学生的好奇心,由此引出所学单词与句型,为后面课文的学习做好渗透。  

Step3 Introduction  

T: (PPT6) Here are many things.(教授things) What things do you like?  

S1: I like chocolate, flowers and masks.  

S2: I like chocolate, vases and pumpkin lanterns.  

T: Do you know what are these things for?  

Ss: Halloween.(教授单词)  

学生介绍万圣节,然后PPT7呈现背景资料,学生默读,老师总结。  

T: Halloween is on Oct. 31st. People usually have Halloween parties on that day. For Halloween, what do they need?  

S1: They need some chocolat, some masks.(板书句型并教授)  

T: What else do they need?(教授else一词)  

S2: They need some clothes and some pumpkin lanterns.  

T: Wonderful!  

Step4 Presentation and practice  

T: Look at the picture. What date is it today?(PPT8呈现课文图片1)  

Ss: It’s Oct. 30th.(老师提点帮助)  

T: Halloween is on Oct.31st. Tomorrow is Halloween.(教授tomorrow) Now, our good friend Ben and his family are going to have a Halloween party. They are talking about it. Let’s to and have a look.(Play a listening game学生非常喜爱游戏,学习热情高涨。)  

课件呈现“听力闯关游戏”学生每答对一组听力测试题,电脑将会给予不同的过关提示音乐。  

第一关:Look, listen and choose(看大屏幕,听对话的引言部分,选择正确答案)  

Q1Where’re Ben and his family?  

A. in the bedroom B. in the kitchen C. in the sittingroom D. in the shop  

Q2: What are they going to do?  

A. Go fishing B. Go swimming C. Go climbing D. Go shopping  

第二关:Look, listen and answer(看大屏幕,听课文第一段对话,填写购物单,记下关键词)  

Q1What things do they need?(看购物单回答)  

Q2: Does Ben like masks?  

Q3: What else does Ben like?  

T: Boys and girls, take your shopping lists and let’s go shopping with Ben and his family.  

第三关:Look, listen and fill into the blanks.(看大屏幕,听课文第二段对话)

设计意图:让学生戴上面具唱歌,让学生在愉快的氛围中再次更深刻地感受万圣节,激发学生兴趣。  

Step7 Development  

T: Boys and girls. National Day is coming. We are going to have a party. Please talk to your partner “What do we need?” and buy these things.(学生讨论写出购物单并购物)  

Model: A: Can I help you?  

B: Yes. We need …  

A: What else do you need?  

B: …/ No, thanks.

Step8 Homework  

1. Prepare for our Halloween party.  

2. Copy the words and the phrases.

钮小华:  

本课的教学内容是围绕西方的一个重要节日——万圣节而展开的。本课的教学中教师不仅要帮助学生掌握相关的语言知识,而且还要让学生了解西方的这一节日以及与其相关的一些事物,拓展学生的知识面,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,为其终生学习英语打下良好的基础。  

一、创设氛围,激发学生学习兴趣。  

本节课从课始的猜谜,课文中的听力闯关游戏到课尾的戴面具唱歌都有效地创设了课堂氛围,提高了学生的学习兴趣。  

二、创设情境,整体呈现新的语言项目。  

新课程提倡充分利用现代化教育技术提高教学效果。在课文教学中,我让学生视听动画的同时,记下他们所需物品,并带着购物单随Ben和他的家人一起去购物,让学生有一种亲身体验感,使其在语境中理解、感悟。我利用几幅图片呈现买东西找零,不需要太多解释学生就理解了新的语言项目“Here’s your change.”的含义。整体呈现语言项目有利于培养学生的观察、记忆和思维能力,有利于提高课堂学习效率。  

三、任务注重学生合作。  

在本节课中,让学生分小组讨论研究开办国庆节晚会所需物品及采办这些物品,这样的任务型活动促使学生在合作中学习,在合作中创造,在创造中合作,增强了学生的合作意识和运用英语交际的能力。  

四、培养搜集及综合处理信息能力,渗透跨文化交际意识。  

课前布置学生搜集关于万圣节的资料,在搜集中培养了学生观察、分析、处理信息的能力,锻炼了学生自主学习能力。让学生了解西方节日及西方文化,这些活动不仅培养了学生的跨文化交际意识,而且激发了他们学习英语的兴趣。  

本课教学也有不尽如人意之处,在今后教学中有待进一步调整与改进。比如,教师课堂组织语言过多,不够简练:在vase, mask, horsepumpkin lantern的教授方式上太过单一;在课文教学中教师的引导问题过多,对课文的控制太死,没能让学生自己充分地去发现、归纳、总结。
