一、教学目标:
(一)知识目标:
1. 学生能听懂,会说,会读单词thirsty, tired, ill, water。
2. 学生能听懂、会说、会读句子What’s the matter?及其回答I’m...。
3. 学生能听懂、会说、会读日常交际用语Come and have... Good night.
(二)能力目标:
1. 学生能阅读并理解故事。
2. 学生能有感情的朗读故事。
3. 通过学习,学生初步掌握表示感受或感觉的形容词,并能用What’s the matter? I’m...进行问答。
(三) 情感目标:
1. 鼓励学生积极参加课外活动以及聚会,学会正确的接人待物的方式。
2. 培养学生建立良好的人际交往关系。
3.培养学生关心他人的习惯。
二、教学重、难点:
1.句型:What’s the matter? I’m...进行问答。
2.词汇:thirsty, tired, ill, water 的读音。
三、教学准备:
1.教师准备:光盘,ppt,板书。
2.学生准备:听5遍Story time 录音。
四、教学过程:
Step 1 : Warming up.情景导入,激情:
1. Let's enjoy the song and answer: what's the matter with them? ( Teach: thirsty加上动作)
2.Let’s talk. If you are Liu Tao, can you introduce your day?(引导学生用I… at…句型回答)
3.T: Liu Tao has a busy day. Look, where is he?
T: Is he happy? What’s the matter with Liu Tao? (Teach: what’s the matter?)
T: So, today we’ll learn Unit 7 What’s the matter?(揭题)
T:Can you guess: what’s the matter with Liu Tao? (S:Are you …? T: Maybe / Perhaps.) (Teach: ill/ tired加上动作)
(以刘涛的一天作为大背景,通过描述刘涛的一天导入,让学生思考刘涛怎么了?通过学生的猜测教授新单词 tired 和 ill,激发学生的学习兴趣,让学生对what’s the matter? 的用法有一定的理解。)
Step 2 : Presentation and practice.问题导学:入情:
1. What’s the matter? Let’s watch and tick.
2. Can you act Liu Tao? I’m Mum, who can be Liu Tao?(师生model示范:T:What’s the matter, Liu Tao? S: I’m thirsty and tired.)Work in pairs, two people a group.
3. Let’s imagine. Liu Tao is thirsty and tired. What can he say? If you are Liu Tao, what can you say?
4. How about Liu Tao in the story? What does Liu Tao want in the story? Open your book, read by yourself and circle the key words. (Teach: some water / go to bed)
5. Let’s listen to the computer and repeat it. Please pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.
6. Please follow me to read the story, try to imitate.
7. Read by yourselves (three Ss in a group). You can choose one from ①Read together. ②Read in roles. ③Act the story.
8. Read and show. Let’s tick.(在每组学生表演完后进行tick)
(问题导学,在观看动画的过程中思考问题,让学生带着问题去理解课文,激发学生的自主思考,自主学习的能力,让学生对课文的印象更加深刻,对课文理解更加深入。)
Step3: Consolidation.
1. 自主探究,生情:T: Look at the pictures, what do you think of Liu Tao’s family?
S: (引导学生) It’s a happy family.
T: Yes, Liu Tao’s parents care about Liu Tao. I think your parents will love you and care about you too. So what can you say to your parents?
(自主研究,通过出示课文中的图片,引导学生思考刘涛的家庭是一个什么样的家庭,让学生对快乐,充满爱的家庭有一定的了解。从而体会到父母对于孩子的爱和关心,让孩子思考应该对父母说些什么,做些什么来回报父母,感恩父母。)
2. 展示交流,抒情Let’s make a dialogue. Today, your parents come home. Maybe he/ she is tired/ hungry/ … What can you do for your father/ mother?
(通过设置的情境,让学生设计对话,进行展示交流,让学生学会用英语进行描述,表达情感,表达对父母的关心与爱。)
3. 归纳提升Summary: what do you learn from this lesson?
(让学生学会自己归纳本课所学内容,本课重点句型,新单词,新词组,以及学习本课后学生获得的情感收获,充分调动学生的自主学习,自主归纳的能力。)

1. Act out the story with your partners.
